The OLEUM center in Dunkirk also offers specific safety and maintenance training linked to wind turbines which conforms to the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standard. In order to achieve the center acquired a pedagogical wind turbine in order to place the trainees in actual situations to learn about safety fundamentals via “immersion”.
These training modules are an example the concrete transformation of the energy sector including the training aspect.

Since 2020, OLEUM Dunkirk, one of the Company's two training centers for technical energy professions, has been providing certifying safety courses for wind turbine technicians. Learners acquire all the knowledge and reflexes necessary to operate safely and know how to react should an incident occur. These four days of theoretical training and practical exercises on life-size educational facilities make it emblematic of both our Safety value and our path towards new energies.
