The BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) is a 25MW lithium-ion battery electricity storage system which provides a support service to the electricity transmission network (RTE) by balancing electricity supply and demand in real time.
Currently the largest in mainland France, this storage system forms part of TotalEnergies strategy to develop fixed energy storage essential for the development of renewable energies.
