Based in Dunkirk, the OLEUM OPITO approved offshore training center is unique in France: it enables training in real life situations in the heart of a SEVESO site. The center has an indoor heated training pool as well as a fire training ground to enable trainees to learn in the best possible conditions. As these training programs are continuously given the trainees can either aquire new certification or have refresher training right throughout the year. Thanks to our partnership with FMTC who specialize in offshore training, this side of the business is in strong development.

Thanks to modern infrastructures, the OLEUM offshore training center delivers training linked to OPITO training standards:

  • Firefighting,
  • First aid,
  • Manual Handling,
  • Helicopter under water evacuation, 
  • Heli winching,
  • H2S,
  • Boat Transfer, 
  • etc.
     

OLEUM OFFSHORE TRAINING CENTER OPITO LABEL

Since 2021, the OLEUM Dunkirk center has received OPITO accreditation to deliver offshore training (BOSIET, HUET, FOET). 

OLEUM is the only OPITO certified center in France. 

BOSIET: Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training 

HUET: Helicopter Underwater Escape Training 

FOET: Further Offshore Emergency Training 

  • the trainees are doing the HUET exercise, from the helicopter they are simulating boarding the lifeboat, the divers are in the pool.
  • the trainer activates the remote control to heliwinch the trainees out of the water. The trainees wait their turn in the water in a safe position.
  • the helicopter is under water with the trainees sitting in their seats to extract themselves
  • 3 trainees are at the end of their exercise in the swimming pool and are doing a check. Divers and trainers are in the pool.
